Category : Web News CES
This report by David Richards is the best report I've read in some time.. It's the Google Sets CES Expo On Fire Google will sell, at $1.99 a download, TV shows from CBS, WGBH, HDNet, and the NBA. You can watch 30 seconds of a video for free, and the video can be watched on a PC, or downloaded to an iPod or PlayStation portable. Producing good video is expensive, Page said, and Google Video Store will allow anyone to pick a price they want to charge for their video, from 5 cents on up, whether you're a big studio or a small independent. Page said he wasn't wild about the idea of using advertising to support video on the Web: "I don't think the online experience of being forced to watch a commercial is a great experience." This is so cool

The BBC televised a bio on O. Winston Link.. The Photographer, His Wife, Her Lover
Paul Yule's film reveals the truth behind one of the great art scandals of modern times. O. Winston Link's images have become icons of 20th century Americana. But behind the veneer lies a different story.
Link's photographs depict the last days of steam. But lurking in the background is a tragic story of deceit, lies and greed, together with an unexpected and sordid twist. It is a half-century long tale which culminated in the imprisonment of his wife Conchita and her lover. This is a story of an America that never was and a society that has fed off the myth ever since.

This was the coolest leading edge technology ten years ago but is still new media guys are jumping in head first to impress their friends with accessories first before looking at astronomy - is it stills or is it video?
Gary says he's going to buy himself a telescope he can put a camera on to test his skills at capture..
If guys are going to buy that Celestron magnet they are going to a hand-held 25mm cannon [aka war gamers] that will do real-time video streams that induce lightning flashes that have Hollywood script-writers humbling themselves..?
Will I be ready with my income!
